I had the opportunity to interview Doug Le Claire, the director of ASBURY SHORTS, NYC.  He tried to upstage me with his blonde hair and all, but you know I'm just too good looking.  Better luck next time Doug!

ASBURY SHORTS has been around for nearly 30 years.  Doug tried to convince me he started the program when he was two; yeah right Doug and I have Megan Fox on speed dial!  Seriously though, ASBURY SHORTS is a wonderful experience.  I have gone to several of their screenings and I must say I have a few favorites, like "Super Powers", (sexy woman in a alluring costume, wooohooo) oh and there's "Tulip" a sad tale with an uplifting ending.  Honestly, there are so many great films and so many genres that I can go on and on.                                 

ASBURY SHORTS, NYC is a must see show, it fully supports the independent community and gives us the opportunity to see all these little gems we would have otherwise missed.   Please check out their website at www.asburyshortsnyc.com for more information and upcoming shows.
